Head Teacher Message
Head Teacher Message

A warm welcome to Whitehill secondary school website. The staff in the school are wholly committed to maximising the learning potential and improving the life chances of all young people in the school.

We are committed to the effective delivery of the school curriculum and providing opportunities for the development of essential skills for life, learning and work. We work collaboratively with parents and pupils to promote an active and healthy lifestyle for everyone in our school community.

The website provides details of our curriculum, our wide range of extra-curricular activities, examples of pupil work and regular updates on events which are taking place within the school.

I am sure that you will enjoy reading about the achievements of our pupils. We are extremely proud of them!

Many Thanks,

Pauline Swan

Show My Homework and Accelerated Reader
Show My Homework and Accelerated Reader

Whitehill secondary has two new and exciting initiatives launching this session!

Show My Homework

Essential Benefits:-

  • Teachers - Set differentiated homework projects, quizzes and spelling tests - Track and monitor homework in minutes.
  • Students - it is the easiest way to stay organised and be reminded about deadlines and school announcements. A personalised to-do list for students listing homework activities - Students can access homework resources and files on the move.
  • Parents - it gives you back the power with push notifications and email reminders about homework deadlines, helps them to see their child’s progress.

 Accelerated Reader

Accelerated Reader is a powerful tool for monitoring and managing independent reading practice while promoting reading for pleasure.

Find the instructions about how to complete the quiz under the parent zone section!
